Sauvignon Blanc

The grapes for this delicious Sauvignon Blanc were grown in the highly acclaimed Awatere wine region of Marlborough. 2016 was an excellent vintage around the country, producing clean, healthy, flavoursome fruit. The fruit for this wine was harvested on 7th April at 20.7° Brix.
Fermentation was initiated and proceeded in a slow controlled manner to preserve both the varietal fruitiness and its aromatic intensity. It was lightly
fined, followed by stabilisation prior to bottling during June/July 2016 under screwcap.
This deliciously vibrant Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, in an off-dry style, offers intense passionfruit and lime, accompanied with attractive cut-grass, lemon
citrus and floral notes. Immensely enjoyable on its own, it is also matches beautifully with Asian and seafood dishes.
