Since opening in June 1995, Mills Reef has established itself as one the Bay of Plenty's most popular and affordable wedding venues - and when you book your wedding at Mills Reef - it’s all exclusively yours!

Mills Reef is literally a picture perfect setting for a wedding of any style with beautifully landscaped grounds featuring expansive grassed areas, liberal plantings of ornamental trees, hedges and ceremony lawns. We offer two distinct outside ceremony areas, and our underground aged wine cellar with its domed ceiling can be used as a venue or as a wet weather alternative.

  

The underground Barrel Room is our dynamic and striking new reception room, a unique and unexpected experience that will have your guests excited with its wow factor. Indoor / outdoor flow from the gardens and patio into our main restaurant provide seamless transition for your guests from ceremony to reception, while providing guests plenty of space to mix & mingle.

Our restaurant offers the finest cuisine using the best of fresh and local produce. All wedding couples are encouraged to personally meet with our head chef who will assist you in writing your own personalised menu.Our wine tasting team are also available to guide you through a wine tasting to match our wines with your menu.
