understand your wedding is an intimate and personal experience.
Since opening in June 1995, we have established Mills Reef as the Bay of Plenty’s
wedding venue. We pride ourselves in the care and attention we pay to the needs of couples
and their families on their special day.
The beautifully landscaped, 20 acre grounds feature expansive grassed areas, with liberal
plantings of ornamental trees, hedges and ceremony lawns.
Our underground aged wine cellar with vaulted ceilings can be used as a winter venue or as
a wet weather alternative. We also have a marquee site available.
Our cuisine is best described as Pacific Rim style using the best of fresh and local
produce. We encourage all wedding couples to write their own menu with our chef, who will
also guide you through a wine tasting to match our wines with your menu.

our Restaurant & Functions Manager is more than happy to answer any questions you may
have and invites you into Mills Reef for a show around. We have many options available.
